We recently launched our Feature Board and there’s been a lot of great discussion going on already. We’d like to begin by thanking all of you that have had a chance to access the board so far for your contributions which have proven to be very insightful!
The Feature Board is provided by Trello so many of you will already be familiar with the Kanban format.
Purpose of the Feature Board
The Feature Board is a means for us to keep you – our community – in the loop and to get your feedback as early as possible.
We want to make Beyond Dark as enjoyable and engrossing to play as possible and strongly believe with your help we can achieve this.
As the developers of Beyond Dark we have a clear overall vision for the game. But with a game of this magnitude, there is always going to be room for refinement and interesting decisions to take.
If you would like to closely follow and actively shape the development of Beyond Dark, we would love to have you participating on the Feature Board.
How it Works
We post up cards for upcoming features and areas of gameplay we’re working on. While everyone can read these, those who have been added to the board as Observers via Call to Arms will be able to comment and vote.
Votes help us understand what we should prioritise and how strongly you feel about a topic. Your comments can suggest refinements or an entirely different approach to something we are proposing.
Cards are colour coded to indicate the status: whether it has been confirmed for implementation, and if so the timescale.
You can find out more about the Feature Board in the first column titled “About this Board”.
See You on the Board!
The ability to comment on the board has been tied to a reward tier so as to keep the level of discussion manageable.
Please feel free to contact us if you feel strongly enough about a particular topic and would like to see it discussed on the Feature Board. Or if you believe you have a better suggestion for a topic being discussed. We do ask that people respect the opinions of others and keep the discussions civil.
We look forward to seeing you on the Feature Board!
