Welcome to the Galactic News! This week we’ve got more fleet combat stats for the Awaken the Dark Galaxy including Hot Zones and Combatant Strength. Even if you’ve not been playing in this galaxy it’s well worth taking a look!
Word from the Devs
Good news – as things stand there should be a new patch released before the end of next week! It’ll include the new automated fleet guards feature and the first batch of Steam achievements.
Please note: you may notice Steam achievements listed for Outscape before then as we’re live testing them internally. But you won’t be able to unlock any yourselves yet until the new patch has been released.
We’ll update you during the week on the status of the new patch 🙂

This heatmap shows the major hot zones of the Awaken the Dark galaxy – the areas where the biggest and most fleet battles took place:
- Yellow is low, Green is medium, Red is highest
- Based on the sizes of both fleets and the number of battles (areas with few, small battles aren’t visible)
- 1,052 PvP fleet battles were analyzed from between August 13 to September 04 (battles with pirates were excluded)

- Number of Ships: the total number of ships across both fleets
- Total HP: the sum of all ship’s HP (hull points, hull strength)
- Total DPS: the sum of all ship weapons’ – energy and ordnance – DPS (damage per second)
How many of those massive battles were you involved in? If you want in on the action there’s still time to get involved, the Awaken the Dark galaxy will run for a little while longer…
