Welcome to this week’s Galactic News 🙂
Before we take a look at how the Awaken the Dark galaxy is doing at the end of week two, let’s see what else has been going on and what’s to come next week.
The Word on the Street
Have you experienced rageful fury while playing Outscape? If yes, you’ve probably been involved in a protracted, soul-destroying ‘minefield war’ with another player.
But good news! Part 1 of those changes we proposed a few weeks ago – that we believe will drastically improve things – are finally ready to go and will be in the next patch…
Patch v119 is coming
The next patch is just about ready and will be released early next week. As well as the minefield improvements mentioned above, it will include a fix for high-speed interceptions failing and some balancing tweaks. You can find out more here.
Fan Art: Captain MadRexx
Like comics? This comic – The adventures of MadRexx – was posted to the #artwork channel on Discord recently and I thought I’d share it here 🙂
If you’ve made any fan art, have any awesome/funny screenshots from the game, send them through to me somehow and I’ll share what I can in one of our posts (post it to Discord/Forum and tag me or PM it to me).
Right. Let’s see what’s going on with the new galaxy…
Top Players – Awaken the Dark Galaxy
The Top 10 players from the leaderboards
Master of Warfare
We have a new Grand Emperor and Master of Warfare this week. And like last week, it’s the same player! Congratulations to chiral, the double-titled ‘Grand Emperor Master of Warfare’.
Those are some huge points for just one week. In Main 2 gaining more than 30k points in a week was rare. And it took many weeks for players to get anywhere near the top scores we’re seeing here!
Mankind are still absolutely nowhere to be seen. However… The Mankind chomping Snithereal are riding suspiciously high…
Alliance of Warfare
There aren’t dedicated leaderboards for alliances yet. So I’ve cobbled some together for you here.
In case it isn’t obvious, the scores are the collective scores of all members of each alliance for Grand Emperor and Master of Warfare, with those titles imaginatively relabelled Grand Alliance and Alliance of Warfare. If you can think of something better, let me know.
Congratulations to BLACK! Topping both leaderboard categories – they look like they mean business and business is booming 😉
And a shout-out to TEARS, who with just 2 alliance members are up there on the Warfare leaderboard. Where have those points come from? Valiantly defending their territory or do they just love blowing things up?
If your alliance has any news that you want me to share in the Galactic News, send it to me. A declaration of war on another alliance? Looking for new members? Just want to introduce yourselves?

13% of players now have access to Dreadnoughts after just two weeks! Dreadnoughts are by far the technology players have most heavily invested in. And after next week’s patch, they’ll be even more in-demand because they’re getting buffed. More slots will be added to Dreadnoughts which will make them more versatile, powerful, and useful.
That’s it for today, see you next week 🙂
