We’ve tweaked how the Top 10 are displayed so you can now see how many points each player has gained/lost since last week. It makes it easier to gauge how much momentum players have.
The seemingly omnipotent Rislem and Belisarius continue to hold on to their Grand Emperor and Master of Warfare titles. But Dirtdiver1979 is storming up the table and racking up some serious points. By next week things could be looking a lot tighter at the top…

It’s been a few weeks since we last looked at the rate of galactic expansion. If you flick through the tabs you can see that each week expansion has progressed at a steady pace. Minefield usage does seem to fluctuate a bit but that could be in response to ongoing balancing changes to minefields.
Alliances
Although alliance support is still limited in the game a lot of players belong to an alliance. Using treaties to grant safe passage to each other and Discord to handle comms.

News From the Devs
It was a tough week and things didn’t go as smoothly as we’d have liked!
For the first time in a while the servers were down for a few hours. And the simplest/quickest way to restore them was to rush out a patch we were planning to release towards the end of the week and were still working on.
Work on the new hyperspeed galaxy is coming along nicely though. We put out another post yesterday showing how fast it will be which you should check out if you haven’t already. We’re enjoying play testing it and can’t wait to release it 🙂
